Summary

Description
English: The Guildhall, Much Wenlock. The oldest part is the medieval prison. A courthouse was built in 1540, following the dissolution of the monastery, and a Council Chamber added over the prison in 1577. The extension over the passageway on the right was built in 1868. The town council still meets here once a month (from leaflet published in 1999).
