Description
English: Lateral view of a Timothy Mason longcase clock movement with striking mechanism, circa: 1730. The top of the pendulum and the crutch that drives it can be seen on the left side of the case. At center is the drum with rope coiled around it which is turned by hanging weights to power the clock. The face and hands of the clock are on the right side.
