(July 4, 2005) - The Navy's oldest commissioned vessel, USS Constitution, fires its cannon in salute to the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) during Constitution's annual Independence Day turn-around cruise in Boston Harbor. Every year the crew of Constitution gets underway on July 4th in order to allow the ship to weather evenly on both sides.
