Summary
Description View Inside Western Sydney Stadium on Opening Day (cropped).jpg |
English:
A view from the northeast corner of Western Sydney Stadium, looking towards its southwest corner. Taken on 14 April 2019, the day Western Sydney Stadium was officially opened and the first open house event occurred. The stadium replaced the former Parramatta Stadium, which stood on this site from 1985 to 2017. The stadium will be the permanent home ground of the Western Sydney Wanderers and the Parramatta Eels, while the Wests Tigers and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs will use the venue occasionally for home games, and the New South Wales Waratahs will use the venue while their traditional home ground, the Sydney Football Stadium, is being rebuilt.
