Das Palais wurde im Auftrag von Ferdinand Georg August von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld-Koháry in rund 5 Jahren Bauzeit ab 1840 errichtet. Im Zuge der Schleifung der Bastei wurde 1864 die Attikazone von Franz Neumann und Leopold Mayer neu gestaltet. |
