English: Richard II of England with his patron saints, l to r: King Edmund the Martyr, King Edward the Confessor, St John the Baptist. The Wilton Diptych (c.1395–1399) is a portable altarpiece taking the form of a diptych, painted for King Richard II. This is the left-hand panel.
