Página 58 del Lienzo de Tlaxcala ( circa 1552), el virrey Antonio de Mendoza acompañado de aliados tlaxcaltecas se enfrenta a los caxcanes y zacatecos en Xochipillā. El lugar es representado en la parte superior derecha con un niño sosteniendo un ramo de flores (xochitl). La batalla ocurrió durante la Guerra del Miztón en 1541.

  • Deutsch: Seite 58 des Lienzo de Tlaxcala (ca 1552), Vizekönig Antonio de Mendoza mit seinen Alliierten Tlaxcalteken begegnet den Caxcanes und Zacatecos in Xochipillâ, in einer Schlacht. Der Ort ist auf einem Berg rechts oben im Bild, mit einem Kind dargestellt. Es hält einen Blumenzweig (Xochitl) in der Hand. Die Schlacht wurde während des Mixtón Krieges 1541 geschlagen.

  • English: Page 58 of the Lienzo de Tlaxcala (ca C.E.1552), Viceroy Antonio de Mendoza with his Allies Tlaxcaltek meets the Caxcanes and Zacatecos in Xochipillâ, in a battle. The place is shown on a mountain at the top right of the picture, with a child. It holds a flower branch (Xochitl) in its hand. The battle was fought during the Mixtón War in C.E.1541.
