The Museum of the Southwest is a multidisciplinary cultural museum opened in 1966.[3] It displays a selection of prints, paintings, and drawings. It also houses the Durham Children's Museum.[4] The museum is situated in a 5,300 sq ft (490 m2) mansion built in 1937 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.[5]

Fred and Juliette Turner House

The house was designed by architect Anton F. Korn and was built during 1936–37.[1]
