Group of arteries that provide blood to the ileum

Not to be confused with Common iliac artery.

The ileal arteries are 12 branches of the superior mesenteric artery[1] which supply blood to the ileum.[citation needed] They arise from the left side of the superior mesenteric artery.[1]
