Iranian mystic (b. 1925, d. 1996)


Ja’far Mojtahedi (Persian : جعفر مجتهدی) was born on January 25, 1925, in Tabriz, and was an Iranian mystic. He died in Mashhad on January 26, 1996. Until 2015 at least eight books have written about him.[1]

Early life

His family was wealthy and religious. Ja’far, while he was a child showed an interest in divine love and devotion towards the Ahl-al-bayt. His father died when Ja’far was a child, so he was well-trained under the care of his mother, a learned woman. Also, he tended to alchemy in his youth and spent some wealth that he received from his father on this science.[2]
