Kamienka (Rusyn: Камюнка, romanized: Kamiunka; Ukrainian: Камйонка, romanized: Kamionka; Hungarian: Kövesfalva) is a village and municipality in Stará Ľubovňa District in the Prešov Region of northern Slovakia. The village is traditionally inhabited by Rusyns, as one of their westernmost settlements.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1342.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 588 metres (1,929 ft) and covers an area of 29.166 km2 (11.261 sq mi). It has a population of about 1409 people.
