Bondevik's First Cabinet governed Norway between 17 October 1997 to 17 March 2000. It was led by Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik, and consisted of the Christian Democratic Party, the Centre Party and the Liberal Party. There was a major reshuffle in March 1999.     1. Bondevik was on leave due to a depressive reaction from 31 August to 23 September 1998. As his deputy, Anne Enger served as acting prime minister during that time.
    2. Arnstad was on leave from 26 March to 28 August 1998. Anne Enger was acting minister during that time.
