Konyshyovsky District

Konyshyovsky District (Russian: Конышёвский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-eight in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwestern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,135 square kilometers (438 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Konyshyovka.[1] Population: 10,594(2010 Census);[3] 15,155 (2002 Census);[8] 19,234(1989 Census).[9] The population of Konyshyovka accounts for 35.4% of the district's total population.[3]
