City in Lorestan province, Iran


Kuhnani (Persian: کوهناني), formerly Kunani (كوناني),[3] also Romanized as Kūnānī and Konānī,[4] is a city in, and the capital of, Kuhnani District of Kuhdasht County, Lorestan province, Iran.[5] It also serves as the administrative center for Kuhnani Rural District.[6]

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,746 in 734 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 8,242 people in 1,937 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 7,768 people in 2,057 households.[2]
