Leandro Freire de Araújo (born 21 August 1989 in Brazil), sometimes known as just Freire, is a Brazilian football player who plays as a defender. He currently plays for FC Gifu in the J3 League.

Career

Previously he played for Vitória S.C. in the Primeira Liga.[1][2]

On 28 March 2014, Freire signed for Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Ordabasy on a season-long-loan deal,[3] returning to Nacional in January 2015.[4]

On 14 February 2017, Freire was announced as a new signing for J.League side Shimizu S-Pulse.[5]
