Liga Futebol Timor-Leste (LFTL) is a highest-levelvleague competition featuring football clubs from Timor Leste. It replaced the Super Liga Timorense in 2015.[1] The competition initially consisted of two main divisions, the Primeira Divisão and Segunda Divisão, however was expanded to include a third division in 2019.[2] From 2020 to 2024, the winner of the previous Premeria Divisão was able to represent Timor Leste in the AFC Cup.[3]
In 2020 the competition was renamed from the Liga Futebol Amadora to the Liga Futebol Timor-Leste.[4][5] The league did not run due to the COVID pandemic.
Liga Futebol Timor-Leste is also the name of the governing body which also organises the Taça 12 de Novembro, and the LFA Super Taça.
