This is a list of Indonesian provinces by Human Development Index as of 2023. The data are regularly published every year by Statistics Indonesia.[1] Below also contains list of cities and regencies that has classification of very high HDI as of 2023, as well as historical data of HDI of Indonesian provinces.

Methodology

The figures come from the Indonesia Human Development Report,[2] published by Statistics Indonesia and Human Development Index (by UN Method) of Indonesian provinces since 1990 (2021 revision).[3]
