The following is a list of different international call prefixes that need to be dialled when placing an international telephone call from different countries.

- Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda each can be called from the other two using special short codes: 005 to call Kenya, 006 to call Uganda and 007 to call Tanzania. The shortcode is followed directly by a local number.
