Eureka Prizes

Annual prizes awarded by the Australian Museum


The Eureka Prizes are awarded annually by the Australian Museum, Sydney, to recognise individuals and organizations who have contributed to science and the understanding of science in Australia. They were founded in 1990 following a suggestion by science journalist Robyn Williams.[1]

The 2003 Australian Museum Eureka Prizes dinner, was compered by Sally Loane, Adam Spencer and Robyn Williams, and attended by some 800 people at the Horden Pavilion of Fox Studios on Tuesday 12 August 2003.[73][74][75]
