Marlie Wright of San Diego was crowned Miss California's Outstanding Teen on July 1, 2023 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Fresno, California. She competed at Miss America's Teen 2024 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida in January 2024.

In January of 2023, the official name of the pageant was changed from Miss California’s Outstanding Teen, to Miss California’s Teen, in accordance with the national pageant.
