Miss World Vietnam (Vietnamese: Hoa hậu Thế giới Việt Nam) is a national beauty pageant in Vietnam that has been held biennially since 2019. This contest was first started in 2019 by Senvang Vietnam as Miss World Vietnam.[1][2] The pageant crowned the Vietnam representative to compete the major international beauty pageant Miss World.

The current Miss World Vietnam titleholder is Huỳnh Trần Ý Nhi from Bình Định, who was crowned on July 22, 2023.

History

Around the beginning of 2019, a beauty organization in Vietnam is Senvang Entertainment announced the Miss World Vietnam contest for the first time after many years of participating in the Miss World contest, this year Sen Vang Entertainment led by Ms. Pham Kim Dung made an effort to organize the contest.

As usual, by 2020, the Miss World contest will officially return, but due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnam, the contest has been canceled. By 2021, when the epidemic situation in Vietnam is under control and gradually stabilized, the 2nd Miss World Vietnam contest will officially return. The 2nd Miss World Vietnam contest takes place from the end of 2021 to August 2022.[3]

The winner of Miss World Vietnam or Miss Vietnam represents her country at the Miss World. On occasion, when the official contest was not held, a winner or a runner-up of other national beauty contests was elected to compete at Miss World by the license holder (currently, Sen Vang Entertainment).
