This enzyme belongs to the family of glycosyltransferases, specifically the hexosyltransferases. The systematic name of this enzyme class is alpha-D-glucuronate:N-acetyl-beta-D-galactosaminyl-(1->4)-beta-D-glu curonosyl-proteoglycan 3-beta-glucuronosyltransferase.
