Oleksandr Vladlenovych Martynenko (Ukrainian: Олександр Владленович Мартиненко; born August 22, 1960, in Kharkiv) is a Ukrainian media director and journalist. Martynenko has been a director of Interfax-Ukraine from its foundation in 1992 to 1998 and since 2003. From 1998 to 2002, he was a deputy chief of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine and press secretary of President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma.[1]
