Rehan Butt

Rehan Butt (born 6 July 1980 in Lahore, Pakistan) is a former Pakistani professional field hockey player who played as a forward mainly as a center forward or right-out, during his career and for the Pakistan national field hockey team. In 2008 he was declared as the Best Asian Player by the Asian Hockey Federation.[1] A world renowned player known for his play-making skills and shooting in-front of the goal. Butt was named in the FIH All Stars Team in 2008 and 2010.[2] At international level Butt represented Pakistan at two Olympics and two Hockey World Cups. He was part of the teams that finished third at three consecutive Champions Trophy in 2002, 2003 and 2004. He won the gold medal at the 2010 Asian Games.
