[10] The 1992–93 season saw the introduction of the Premier League, so Division 1 replaced Division 2, Division 2 replaced Division 3 and Division 3 replaced Division 4.

[11] The 2004–05 season saw the rebranding of Divisions 1–3, so Division 1 became the Championship, Division 2 became League One and Division 3 became League Two.
