Fungal structure for asexual reproduction


Sporidia are result of homokaryotic smut fungi (which are not pathogenic), asexual reproduction through the process of budding.

Phyllactinia guttata. Three sporidia are labeled '4'

Thus far, this has only been observed in vitro.
