Statute Law Revision Act 1953
United Kingdom legislation
The Statute Law Revision Act 1953 (2 & 3 Eliz. 2. c. 5) is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
This Act was partly in force in Great Britain at the end of 2010.[3]
The enactments which were repealed (whether for the whole or any part of the United Kingdom) by this Act were repealed so far as they extended to the Isle of Man[4] on 25 July 1991.[5]
The effect of this Act is set out in the Report of the Joint Committee on Consolidation and Statute Law Revision Bills, with the proceedings and minutes of evidence, dated 19 November 1953.[6]
