Steppin' Out is an entertainment magazine focused on the industry, published on a weekly basis by Larry Collins. It positions itself as the premier entertainment magazine for New York and New Jersey.[1] The publication's inaugural issue was released in September 1988.[2] Steppin' Out is known for featuring interviews with celebrities, who also appear on the cover. The content of the magazine includes film reviews, entertainment industry gossip, and regular contributions from various writers, along with horoscopes, local event listings, and classified advertisements. It claims a print readership of over 50,000.[3]

Contributors

Larry Collins began Steppin' Out magazine with his wife Pamela in his parents' basement in 1988.[4] The magazine was promoted on The Howard Stern Show when he had Chaunce Hayden on as a frequent guest. Hayden was the chief editor of the magazine and wrote many of the articles. Dan Lorenzo was promoted to editor in January 2012. Lorenzo also does ad sales.[5]
