The purpose of this template is similar to other continent and region topic templates, however instead of the name of countries being affixed to changeable strings, the country's demonym is affixed. This template is distinct from the other continent and region topic templates because many national concepts, such as cuisine and literature, are more commonly referred to by using the demonym (Nigerian cuisine, Nigerian literature) than the country name ("Cuisine of Nigeria," "Literature of Nigeria").
