Be wary of overuse

Many of the links in this template are extremely generic and have nothing about diving in the article. Examples include Weight, Pressure, and Turbidity. Please avoid appending this template to the end of such articles, as this can become quite ugly and overwhelming for readers. Krushia (talk) 20:28, 3 October 2012 (UTC)

These subjects are all fundamental to the the understanding of the physics of diving and the diving environment. Can you refer to a policy or guideline to support your point of view? Please do not remove further navboxes without providing evidence that this action is supported by an existing policy or consensus. Peter (Southwood) (talk): 12:22, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
There are illustrations at WP:ATC regarding my main fear, in which a naxbox added to an article invites other templates. For an article as basic as, say, Pressure, one can expect to see additional navboxes added including fields of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Flight, Weather, Rocketry, Circulatory system, Gravitation, Explosive material, and countless others. Eventually the navboxes will grow to take up more computing resources than the pressure article itself. Further guidance can be found in WP:NAV#Properties, and WP:NAVBOX. You could also discuss this at WP:TFD. Krushia (talk) 21:19, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
