Is this template really just for the Commission or also for other institutions?--Boson (talk)

Boson, the reason for the distinction is that MEPs have an MEP stub and Council members go by national stubs. ECB ect. aren't politicians but economists.- _J.Logan`^t: 20:52, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

I was asking because it generates "This article about a politician in the European Commission is a stub." and it was used on Hubert Weber, the ex-President of the ECA. The name EU-org-bio-stub seemed appropriate. Is there a better stub template for people like Hubert Weber and his replacement? --Boson (talk) 00:07, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Not sure and while I originally wanted an EU-wide one for simplicity, it wouldn't really help here considering auditors aren't politicians, How about changing the stub to European Union official?- _J.Logan`^t: 08:06, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

That sounds OK to me, though I don't know much about the conventions and procedures for stub templates and categories, so I would prefer to leave changes to someone else.--Boson (talk) 23:21, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
