There is a link with the Sheffield to Lincoln line at Retford railway station, but I have no idea how to add this without making a mess of your template. --Amdsweb 22:24, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Presumably the line to Hull does not form part of the ECML, and should be relegated to a dotted spur. It appears to be the Hull-York line, or some such. --Tagishsimon (talk) 12:56, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Between Newark & Grantham

I'm posting this from a northbound train on the ECML. AFAIK we're some way south of Newark (1 hour 17 minutes north of KingsX). We've just gone across a dual line track which runs east-weat (assuming we're going north) ... the line intersects the ECML as a crossroad, as it were, just south of a series of flooded gravel pits now used for angling. What is that line? Should it be on the template? --Tagishsimon (talk) 15:49, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Sounds like the flat crossing with the Nottingham-Lincoln line just north of Newark North Gate. The crossing is only a couple of hundred metres north of North Gate station and immediately before a bridge over the River Trent. [link] I've added it onto the template along with the Sheffield-Lincoln line at Grantham station. 195.137.119.32 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 19:38, 3 January 2009 (UTC).

Showing tunnels and viaducts

Would it be appropriate to show the tunnels and viaducts mentioned in the main article. For example the viaduct and tunnels near Wewyln North and the tunnel south of Grantham. If it is appropriate then could someone add them because it is not something I am experienced at. PeterEastern (talk) 07:10, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
