Bergen Arches

The template gives the impression that the Northern Branch always ran through the Bergen Hill Tunnels, which was not the case, as described in the Erie Lackawanna section. After 1910, trains came through the Erie Cut/Bergen Arches until the consolidation. Djflem (talk) 14:27, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

  • I have attempted to address this. Jaysbro (talk) 01:44, 14 February 2023 (UTC)

Simplify this?

I'm not an expert enough with the BS* and RouteMap templates to make this any simpler/prettier. Some of the coloring is off (particularly on the overlay of the detour). Jaysbro (talk) 01:44, 14 February 2023 (UTC)

  • It should also include North Bergen Yard and Marion Junction as they're mentioned in the intro. Jaysbro (talk) 01:48, 14 February 2023 (UTC)

@Jaysbro:. Addtions are good, except the order is a bit off. You seem to have technique to make necessary corrections. Thanks: Should be from south to north:

  • former West Shore/current HBLR junction (this is NOT Granton Junction)
  • North Bergen Yard (former West Shore, now CSX, was never part of Northern Branch or NYSW)
  • Granton Junction between Erie Northern Branch/NYSW
