AfD Go Articles

List of Go software has just been deleted. List of free Go programs and List of internet Go servers are undergoing AfD and will probably soon be deleted. List of go topics is completely useless and adds nothing beyond Category:Go, so I will propose delete myself.

I suggest we therefore scratch all these from Template:GoBoardGame.

Perhaps a new article, Go software, could be created. This article could explain what kind of support software is used surrounding the game, like SGF Viewers/Editors, Pattern Searchers, Programs for connecting to servers, etc. It could then function as the "main" article for the Software assistance section in Go (board game) Such an article should not become a repository of links, because thats why these articles are getting deleted in the firts place. It could provide links to external lists, like http://senseis.xmp.net/?GoServers or http://senseis.xmp.net/?GoPrograms etc.

I have now created an article on go software, and will add in to the list. I will remove the articles mentioned above as about to be deleted. HermanHiddema (talk) 23:18, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
