for what and why?

this is truly an odd page - why does it exist? It's not obvious at all what a page full of year-numbers is; it's not like Anthropology has its own calendar. IMO it should be deleted but won't place the delete tempalte yet in order to give its creator(s) a change to make it more intelligible and explain why it's needed....Skookum1 (talk) 03:22, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Agree it's pointless. I've begun merging the year pages into decades, then this page can be converted to a navigation template, for those articles plus history of anthropology. Gwinva (talk) 10:24, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
