Lattice constant

I'd like to suggest adding the value of the lattice constant. /David A, 2021/12/03  Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.235.150.37 (talk) 10:00, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

Bulk modulus

I have a few sources saying that it's 234 GPa. Where does the reference here come from? Thricecube (talk) 02:35, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Brinell Hardness units

Value shows as "25 HB MPa" - presumably the MPa is added by the template - Could the template allow either or both of MPa and HB ? - Rod57 (talk) 01:26, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

The density of Gold in the infobox is wrong.

Where do I put the citation if I edit an infobox? The density of gold in the infobox is wrong. Gold is 18.88 g/cm3 as given in: CRC HANDBOOK of CHEMISTRY and PHYSICS, 64TH EDITION, (c) 1983, CRC Press, Inc. page B-15. - Fartherred (talk) 02:38, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

My 72nd CRC Handbook says 19.3. Materialscientist (talk) 03:04, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
It is very embarrassing. The 64th edition has a mistake in it on the density of Gold. I am sorry for causing trouble. Thank you for your quick response. - Fartherred (talk) 03:16, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

Infobox images need Alt text - MOS:ALT

Per MOS:ALT, the infobox image should have alternate text field for the visually impaired, for readers that do not display images, and for those users that have images suppressed or disabled. I do not know the proper way of achieving this edit on a template myself, so I ask the help of others for a consensus and merely want to begin the conversation.

Do you have an alt-text in mind? -DePiep (talk) 13:05, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

Semi-protected edit request on 2 January 2024

In the section "other properties" add "Lattice Constant: 4.09" below the Crystal structure entry. This is my scource: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/pdf/10.1002/9783527633296.app5 on page 266. This should be included for physics calculations. 188.118.176.152 (talk) 23:20, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

Request is good, I don't have the tech skill to implement Geardona (talk to me?) 15:56, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
@Geardona: why did you answer "not done"? LittlePuppers (talk) 02:42, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
I do not have the technical skill, wanted to improve chances for future responders to quickly do it. Geardona (talk to me?) 02:44, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
wrong template though Geardona (talk to me?) 02:45, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
Alright, please double check the template in the future to prevent confusion - but thanks for getting back to me. I'm looking at this and opened a discussion at Template talk:Infobox element; if there isn't any opposition there, I'll add the parameter there and then here. LittlePuppers (talk) 02:52, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
My bad, Smiley Sorry! Geardona (talk to me?) 02:55, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
Done but used a different source, one that specifies the temperature.–MadeOfAtoms (talk) 09:29, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
