Two kinds of Italian Irredentism?

There should be a discussion about the difference between "Risorgimento" Irredentism and "Fascist" Irredentism. I think the first was aimed at territories with italian population majority, while the second at territories with minority (but with former historical majority).--Ideanoise (talk) 17:31, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

The Fascist one is imperialism. Irredentism is a movement intended to reclaim and reoccupy a lost homeland already inhabited by ethnic Italians. --Enok (talk) 05:08, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
