The Foreign Languages section seems ill-named, at least in part -- Spanish, French, and German at least all have dialects that are native to the United States, making them as foreign as English. In addition, it's strange that there's no direct link or links to Indigenous Languages, individuated or otherwise. With the likes of Mohawk Dutch, Métis French, and Gullah, the settler / Indigenous categories stop working as neatly. Mohawk Dutch was based on Dutch; the Métis are an Indigenous nation; and, the Gullah Geechee are not settlers. Let's consider a way to accurately and fairly break down the language groupings to better reflect the linguistic and cultural landscape
