A couple of suggestions

1. It might be worth splitting national weeklies (e.g., SST) from local ones (e.g. Clutha Leader) 2. Should there be a section for defunct newspapers (e.g., Dunedin Evening Star, Hawkes Bay Herald-Tribune)?

It would be even better to have a Newspapers in New Zealand article. -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 01:09, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

The Star

The Star is listed as a defunct newspaper. It's very much an ongoing concern, but with its twice-weekly publication, it does not fit the other two categories ("dailies" and "national weeklies"). What do we do? Do we create another category "Other current newspapers"? Schwede66 00:27, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
