Maybe we should add a link for anyone wanting to find the 2016 Olympic article during these Games? --\/\/slack (talk) 18:52, 6 August 2016 (UTC)

Deaflympics

Is it really necessary to have the Deaflympics listed on this template? The event is not nearly as covered by media as the Paralympics, or the Youth Olympics. Besides, the Special Olympics is an event that is not listed on this template, so it really makes the inclusion of the Deaflympics even more questionable. -- ThiagoSimoes (talk) 14:14, 17 September 2016 (UTC)

I think we should add the Special Olympics World Games to the template. The template is not crowded enough to justify its exclusion. All of these games are affiliated with the IOC in some form or another.  Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 17:05, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
