Pre 1707 'Parties'

I am not sure that it is worth including things like the Squadrone Volante and the Kirk Party which were not political parties in the modern sense of the term, but unofficial factions in the Scottish Parliament (and to an extent the wider governing classes) whose membership was very fluid. Perhaps it might be worth going down the road of the Welsh Template: Template:Political parties in Wales and remove the Other registered and defunct parties altogether. Angryskies (talk) 17:48, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
I would have no objection to that as it would solve a lot of problems. Dunarc (talk) 23:57, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
