Multiple reign of same title issue

I have just created the Niall Culanach O'Neill article. He held the kingship of one place on three occasions. I have used the succession box template to create what is currently in the article, however I don't know if it is right or not. I would prefer to have it done properly with this template however whilst the documentation shows how to do multiple titles, I don't see how to do multiple reigns of the same title with different predecessors and successors. Any help please? Mabuska (talk) 14:08, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

I've sort of figured a way out myself on how to do it. Not sure if it's right but it does the job. Mabuska (talk) 19:15, 20 July 2020 (UTC)

Usage question for s-off and s-gov

Is there documentation for when to use Template:S-off vs Template:S-gov? My initial though was just that perhaps the difference between the two would be that S-off are elected vs S-gov are appointed government offices? But that doesn't seem to govern current usage. Want to know the right way so I can correct it when I see it. --Asdasdasdff (talk) 17:58, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

I'd be inclined to check what appeared on the predecessor & successor's succession boxes. Cabayi (talk) 18:44, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
Same, but I'd rather have a rule to rely on. --Asdasdasdff (talk) 22:26, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

As parameter for Title section

At the moment the As parameter only works in the before and after sections. It would be helpful to have it in the title section as well, in this case because i'm using it for sports and the team was known by a different name back in 1927. So using the code below:
s-start
chat

s-end
<small>*As Ponsonby AFC</small>
I get:

More information Chatham Cup ...
*As Ponsonby AFC

But would prefer, rather than the work around I've done, to use the "As parameter" to put it in the center box to show the club won it back in 1927 under that name, since the club is now called Mount Albert-Ponsonby.NZFC(talk)(cont) 21:11, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

For unusual applications like this, you can add this manually, eg |title=Winner<br /><small>as Ponsonby AFC</small> --Find bruce (talk) 23:58, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

S-aft as= contains an additional break

Can the extra break in the as= field in S-aft be removed as it makes the box render in a lopsided manner with excessive whitespace. --Find bruce (talk) 00:34, 11 November 2021 (UTC)

The relevant code for s-bef is {{#if:{}|      <small>as {as}</small>}}
S-aft contains an extra break  {{#if:{}|<br /><small>as {as}</small>}}

More information Political offices ...

 Done thanks Neveselbert --Find bruce (talk) 23:58, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
