Number of seasons displayed

Is the template really that big that we can only show 10 seasons at a time? To show everything would require just one more row than (for example) Template:Stoke City F.C. seasons, which looks fine. It is frustrating not to be able to navigate directly to similar articles, so I propose that all articles be displayed in the navbox. If it really is too big (and I'm not sure if there is some limit or guideline on the size of navboxes) why not show (say) 50 seasons at a time? --Jameboy (talk) 20:18, 23 December 2012 (UTC)

I should add that WP:NAV does say that navboxes "should be kept small in size", however these season articles are all part of the same set. --Jameboy (talk) 13:09, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
I think it should show them all. Number 57 16:13, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
I agree it should show them all, make it auto-collapsed so nobody gets scared. GiantSnowman 17:19, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
Agreed, it should show them all. I've lost count of the number of times I've tried to access one season page from another but been denied because the gap between them is bigger than five. Argyle 4 Lifetalk 07:06, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
Can't say I disagree with this. Only 10 seasons at a time is a ridiculously small number. Lukeno94 (talk) 08:59, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
There seems to be consensus so I have gone ahead and changed it. I'm no template expert so please make any fixes you see fit. I didn't change anything related to the categories, only the main list display. To save on number of rows, I didn't do the "decade alignment", but I'm open to changing that if people think it is worthwhile. --Jameboy (talk) 17:11, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
It looks good to me. It might become an issue when there are 300+ articles but I don't think we need to worry about that! Argyle 4 Lifetalk 21:19, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

– We had better facilitate concordance between a particular template's name and a related article's name, category's name. I wish they would match Category:Seasons in English football, Category:Seasons in Indian football, Football in England and Category:Football in England. They should bring into line with established naming conventions Template:Seasons in Brazilian football, Template:Seasons in French football, Template:Football in Germany, and so on. Sawol (talk) 07:57, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

I went ahead and moved the Indian football template after seeing no objections here, and receiving a separate move request on my talk page. Thanks! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 23:30, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
