The NUTS 2 and Boundary Commission are divisions used for administrative purposes only. Hence, they are administrative.

The London Plan is uses sub-regions for planning purposes only. Hence, it falls under the category of planning.

The informal divisions of London are North London, South London, East London and West London. Hence, they fall under the category of informal

Finally, the West End and the East End are districts of historic and cultural significance. The West End is actually described in the London Plan, so it cannot be 'informal', as the previous edit suggests.

See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject London#London: Its districts.2C divisions and regions for problems of creating links to informal regions to which we do not (and will not) have articles. MRSC (talk) 13:18, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
