Suggested pruning

I noticed that some 2010s crime articles have been linked in the template under History. Specifically, Danzig Street shooting, Toronto van attack and the Danforth shooting (a.k.a. 2018 Toronto shooting). I feel that this might be a bit of recentism, and that these aren't really pivotal moments in the history of the city. They are all linked in Crime in Toronto, which the template has under Politics, as well as Timeline of Toronto history. I'd suggest removing these crime articles from this template.

I also find it a bit odd that Graffiti in Toronto is linked under politics. This gives a rather quaint image of Toronto, suggesting that graffiti is one of our top ten political topics. Perhaps this could be moved down to Culture or removed altogether?

In Culture, the film Let's All Hate Toronto is linked. I don't know if the film is important enough to be included here.

I skimmed through the first 2,000 articles with "Toronto" in their titles and didn't notice any prominent absences. (Proposal for the Province of Toronto is a possibility but it may not be important enough.)

Thanks for your consideration. – Reidgreg (talk) 16:17, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
