Possible redesign

Personally, I feel this template might benefit from a redesign to include more than a simple list of the conflicts, perhaps something like Template:Viking activity in the British Isles, and I began design a potential prototype, as much for my benefit as an experiment in template design. Would there be any strong opinions on such a redesign? My mock-ups are here: User:CSJJ104/sandbox/Wars of the Three Kingdoms template. I started the first one, under 'List battles' but realised hat would be far to big, and is probably better handled by the individual campaign boxes, but I think the one under 'List topics' has potential.

I'm not claiming it's complete at the moment, and would be interested in any thoughts as to what should be included, or if the idea is worth pursuing at all, before I make changes to the existing template.--CSJJ104 (talk) 21:30, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
