This article lists the pages containing the chronology and epidemiology of SARS-CoV-2,[1] the virus responsible for the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. The first human cases of COVID-19 were identified in Wuhan City, China in December 2019. At this stage, it is not possible to determine precisely how humans in China were initially infected with SARS-CoV-2[2]. Some developments may become known or fully understood only in retrospect.
