Tarq (Persian: طرق)[3] is a village in Barrud Rural District of Barrud District, Kuhsorkh County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the district[4] and the rural district.[5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,803 in 541 households, when it was in the former Kuhsorkh District of Kashmar County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,791 people in 568 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,507 people in 572 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]

In 2018, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Kuhsorkh County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Rivash as its capital and only city.[4]
