Upper Vaitarana Dam, is an earthfill and gravity dam on west flowing Vaitarna river near Igatpuri, Nashik district of Maharashtra state in India.^[1] The reservoir created by this dam spreads on both Vaitarna and Godavari rivers catchment area.
