Vilo Acuña Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional Vilo Acuña) (IATA: CYO, ICAO: MUCL) is an international airport serving Cayo Largo del Sur,[1] a small coral island in Cuba. It is located within the special municipality (municipio especial) of Isla de la Juventud.[2]

The airport resides at an elevation of 3 m (9.8 ft) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 12/30 with an asphalt surface measuring 3,000 m × 45 m (9,843 ft × 148 ft).[1]
On February 20, 2020, damages to the only airport runway forced tourist passengers to return to the mainland via boat.[3]

In October 2023, direct flights came only from Havana (3 flights), Varadero (3 flights), Montreal (2 flights) and Toronto (2 flights).[4]
As of October 30, 2023, there are more than 200 flights from many foreign airports that include only one stop-over: Canada (49 airports), U.S.A. (43), Mexico (10), Dominican Republic (3), Grenada (2), Panama (2), Bahamas (1), Antigua and Barbuda (1), Barbados (1), Bermuda (1), Caribbean Netherlands (1), Cayman Islands (1), Guadeloupe (1), Haiti (1), Martinique (1), Nicaragua (1), Saint Kitts and Nevis (1), Saint Lucia (1), Saint Pierre and Miquelon (1), Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (1), Sint Maarten (1), Trinidad and Tobago (1), Turks and Caicos Islands (1).[4]
Still as of October 30, 2023, only two airlines operate: Sunwing Airlines and Cubana de Aviación, with 3 times as many flights with the former as there are with the latter.[4]
Three Cuban airports have non-stop domestic flights to Cayo Largo : Havana and Varadero with Cubana, and Santa Clara with Sunwing.[4]
